About
The cloud is a place.
AI feels weightless. It isn't. Every answer, image and agent runs on a physical system of electrons, water, glass and silicon spread across buildings the size of airports and supply chains that circle the planet. AI Infra Atlas makes that system visible, explorable and legible, from a 138 kV transmission line to a transistor gate.
- PowerTransmission, substations, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, batteries, and on-site solar, gas and nuclear.
- Water and heatCold plates, CDUs, chillers, cooling towers, dry coolers, and the difference between withdrawal and consumption.
- SiliconRacks, trays, GPUs, HBM and the zoom from a data hall to the silicon lattice.
- FiberCarrier routes, meet-me rooms, leaf-spine fabrics and why AI traffic runs east-west.
- Time and capitalPermits, interconnection queues, lead times, construction phases and the economics of a GPU-hour.
How it was built
Next.js and React Three Fiber, with every piece of equipment generated procedurally from a typed component library. The scene, the flows, the inspector, the calculators and the text map all read the same data, so the 3D view and the accessible text always agree. Figures are labeled as vendor specs, reported values or model estimates; see the methodology and field notes.
